Fundamental overview

Functionalities of a computer :

 Any computer carries out five functions:

• Takes data as input.
• Store the data or instructions in its memory and can use them.
• Processes the data and converts its into useful information.
• Outputs the processed information.
• Controls all the above four steps.  

Computer have its advantages and disadvantages also

Advantages:  

• HIGH SPEED
• ACCURACY
• STORAGE CAPABILITY
• VERSATILITY
• RELIABILITY
• AUTOMATION
• many more......

Disadvantages:

• NO IQ
• DEPENDENCY
• NO FEELING
